The rear proportions would be a little better

i must admit i dont particularly like this car either, i tend to agree with spyder6052 in regard to the lines, however i have seen a 1954 customline from tassie a few years ago at the vic hot-rod show with a late model mitsubishi magna roof grafted on, it looked quite good and was well proportioned. i have some pics somewhere and will post when i find them.

I agree with Harko, this person has put alot of soul into this personal kreation. so he may have afew proportions not all there (devilrods example looks better) but 10/10 for trying buddy

Well, it looks like the best of both worlds. Modern running gear with all the luxuries and a classic (modified) look. Certainly is a one off, and didn't need all the compliance hassles. The FB/EK style is something that everyone admires. I'll bet on goes pretty good also. Nice to see a unique new idea.

My thoughts are that BRETTO is a computer wizz and has photo shopped it OR someone is a good panel beater. I dont like it but there has been a shitload of work put into it.......... It would of looked a lot better if he used a fb flash on it BUT THAT WOULD BE A WASTE OF A GOOD FB FLASH Cheers Mark

Interesting car.
The boxy VN doesn't look all that out of place with the EK parts.
I would like to see a rear end view.
I think the skirts are throwing off the proportions...lose them IMHO.
I also think 10/10 for creativity.
Would love to see the same idea applied using a Monaro as a starting point.

I agree with DR and would carry the argument to the front guards too. In my opinion, I reckon it would look better with the lines of the front and rear guards levelled out - like an EH where the line carries thru from front to back.

That car was done by a young bloke named Jake Langdon and the car was in Street Machine - was a contender for SMOTY the year that the LeBrese EH Delivery won. It was smooth as..

This is something I'd definately want to see in the flesh. Looks to be some pretty good workmanship.

well i can see im going to be out off school here and u can all ear bash me at the nationals ..

but i recon it looks cool .. what a imagination not to mention work manship .. now on this site there are lots of ppl fitting .. new model brakes , steering , and the old fav atm V6 commy motors ..

id love my EK to have ABS and STABILITY control not to mention aircon and a heater that actually warms u ..

Well I for one love the thought process gone into this car. The workmanship to make this come together is incredible. Beautifull finish.
I myself have thought what modern cars would look like with old sheet metal, but have never tried to make it happen due to negative minds and comments of others. Good on you Bretto for letting us see someones creation from out of left field it sure has stirred up the natives.
