Ratbox you said it in one I had just drilled it and re-hung before the photo. The upholstery cost $2500 does look the part. Contrast is a big thing for me and this girl has it. Other than the rim colour she is stock. As you can see I am a little excited. Thanks for the comments

This car was originally purchased in Sydney in 2001 original NSW number CHH 914. Is there any way you can trace any kind of history with that number? I am curious about that.
The only thing I'm aware is under Freedom of Information laws the NSW RTA can contact previous owners on your behalf. You might be able to supply a letter which the RTA would send to previous owners asking if they would be prepared to release their details. The best number to do this would be the chassis number. I used this method when searching for my EK.
If you are keen to do this let me know and I could get the forms for you etc
