Hi Stingray

Thanks for your comments about my car :D

In relation to your later comment though: It's definitely not out only 1 day a year as it probably gets driven a lot more than most do.

It was my daily driver from Oct 83 until it was rebuilt in December 89 - and since then it has done one hell of a lot of cruisin'. I just don't hang around shows cos I like to drive it - and if it is seen at a show it is in the car park.

gday NosFEratu

and welcome to the site  8)
there must be some confusion mate(damn computers :x )
by no means did i say it only gets driven once a year
what i meant was: the next time i see it - 1day or 1year (because i dont recall seeing it, and stinky said he hadnt seen it for a couple of years?)
sorry my misteak  ...bad choice of words
its fair enough that you dont hang around car shows, which is why i like shows like cruise on etc - great street party atmosphere - with live(real)music 8)
i hope ive clarified my comment :D
hope to catch up one day for a yarn, & a cruise 8) 8)

p.s. & thanks for sharing some info on your FE, its a ripper 8)

cheers ray

Hi Stingray

No problems - 'computer speak' is not the same as seeing people face to face and it's easy for things to be in your mind one way when you type it but not necessarily interpreted the same way by others. :?

Thanks for your comments about my car - I have to admit I like the way it has evolved over the years to its current look but I could be a little biased. 8)

I used to be heavily involved in the car show scene but have no interest in it anymore. I don't have any issue with those that are proud of their car and want to show them but my real enjoyment is in driving my car. I will go and sticky beak at a show oscasionaly but its usually to catch up with old friends. Cruise On is really the only thing I ever 'enter' because of its laid back atmosphere.

My partner and I tend to lurk in the background - we don't seek too much attention. It was a little overwhelming when I got 'outed' on the FE FC forum a month ago by Stinky and on his insistence I put up some info on their site - if you are interested http://fefcholden.org.au/forum/index.ph ... 040.0.html

And definitely no offence has been taken.

I feel priviledged to have seen it in the flesh, and blessed to hear the story to go with it

Hi Ray

Thanks for your comments - they are very much appreciated.

We did see on here that a few of you were going to go out cruisin' the other night and we thought about gatecrashing in the FE but other things cropped up at the last minute.

I'll keep an eye to see if you guys are planning anything and who knows you might end up being stalked by "NosFEratu - creature of the night"

You lot do seem to get out and about a little more than the FE FC guys - maybe it's something to do with the younger generation (cars & probably people too!)

And yep, I do love my car. It's our 25th anniversary in October and I'm going to buy it an eternity ring - black and red pearl steering wheel!
