looks excellent Paul, the wheel/tyre combo works spot on. I think you made the right move keeping it one colour. Our car was a banff blue standard which i was keen to keep but the wife really wanted the flash, so flash she got :roll: Looks like your car was good-as rust free, what were the floors etc like :?:

The floors are very good with almost no rust at all.

The body had the usual rust in the areas like the bottom of the rear quarter panels and bottom of the front quarter panels but it was repaired with metal by previous owners.

That pre dates me too Lynchpin , When I bought it - it was a stocker up on blocks with no wheels coated from head to toe inside and out in fish oil.
I couldnt tell the color but it all blew off with a degreese and pressure clean on the way home :D
Not sure if you already know but it was my mates grandads car from the dealership brand new 8)

You sure are going to have to chat to a lot of old grandfathers at servo's in the futre with such a slick looking wagon :D

Wagon looks really good !!!

I like the single colour and I do like wheels they suit so well !!! Really nicely done , please keep the progress pics coming.

Is the colour Wedgewood Blue ?

LYCHPIN Man that car is killing me. Owned a Wedgewood blue FB Standard wagon sold it to SCK a few years ago and every time I look at your car I think 'Just Imagine if'.Dont ever sell it get buried in it!!! 8) 8)

The colour is not a specific colour code. When i bought it it was a light blue colour which i used as a reference point with my painter.

Might have to buy a couple of plots now to get it in the ground when i go......ha ha

lynchpin, that looks real sweet! would those rims be HK, 5 inch front, 7 inch rear with baby moons - i have this same setup on my FC

Yes the wheels are HK's but are 6" on the back. Were on the car when purchased.
