looks excellent Paul, the wheel/tyre combo works spot on. I think you made the right move keeping it one colour. Our car was a banff blue standard which i was keen to keep but the wife really wanted the flash, so flash she got  Looks like your car was good-as rust free, what were the floors etc like :?:

The floors are very good with almost no rust at all.

The body had the usual rust in the areas like the bottom of the rear quarter panels and bottom of the front quarter panels but it was repaired with metal by previous owners.

That pre dates me too Lynchpin , When I bought it - it was a stocker up on blocks with no wheels coated from head to toe inside and out in fish oil.
I couldnt tell the color but it all blew off with a degreese and pressure clean on the way home :D
Not sure if you already know but it was my mates grandads car from the dealership brand new 8)

You sure are going to have to chat to a lot of old grandfathers at servo's in the futre with such a slick looking wagon :D

The colour is not a specific colour code. When i bought it it was a light blue colour which i used as a reference point with my painter.

Might have to buy a couple of plots now to get it in the ground when i go......ha ha

Just don't bury it the same way the yanks did with that '57 Plymouth.

When we dig you back up in 50 years were gunna want something left of the car to restore!!

Jack fc,

Yes the wheels are HK's but are 6" on the back. Were on the car when purchased.
