Lynchpin, just saw your wagon...looks AWESOME...which means, EK61...its gonna be difficult to get that wagon under your carport unless I'm around for a visit!!
Thanks for the inspiration Paul, and yes I agree...the colours are VERY close (we'll have to get them next to each other again some time... )
Now...time to get one DRIVING

As they say "you snooze, you lose".

I should have jumped on it sooner I think it was the Tuesday when I found out it was sold. I was going to ring Alfio the previous Friday in a hope to go up on Sunday for a look.

Thats the way the cookie crumbles and I certainly don't have even the faintest hint of bad feelings about it, so don't you.

I tell you what though I'm damn jealous of the shed/ garage you have and all of its inhabitants :D .

Keep up the good work mate.

SCK,
ride height looks spot on 8)
I assume you have the CRS HR 2'' drop spindles fitted ?
If so what springs did you put back into front end, standard or lowered type ?
As i will be fitting some crs drop spindles that i bought i was just wondering what you'd used.
What rim / tyre width are you running? Any clearance issue's on guards?

Hi Ian,
They are CRS 2" spindles running HQ brakes and 1" lowered heavy duty springs. Front rims are standard 14x5" HQ steel rims running 185/65/14 tyres with so much guard clearance its brilliant. Actually thinking of putting 2" lowered springs in to get her slightly lower, but will wait til I've driven it for a bit to see how much these 'settle' before I change them.

Just be careful with the dropped spindles and lowered springs, my brothers Cusso had a similar setup It put the wheel up in the gaurd too far over big bumpscausing the wheel to hit and rub on the underneath of the inner gaurd! Unsettling the car a great deal and causing momentary loss of steering, NOT FUN!!!!

Van looks awesome, can't wait to see a shot all together and outside.

re: the caps, what holds them on?
what DR said about guards hitting my '64 SS did the same, another note is the front cross member hits the ground before the bump stops make contact
