do i need an engineers cert' for a vk efi 202... anyone... in NSW
well i know in NSW you are supposed to have an engineers cert for just the red motor being in it inplace of the grey but really its up the engineer you go through ....
if the car is regoed with the 186 in it then it will probably be easier to mod it put the 12 port head on it then the efi will bolt straight on.

my 2c and not trying to contrdict anybody else just something to consider but i was advised against the VK efi was told not worth the trouble and cost of fitting especially if you want a lumpy cam
remember to have a plan of attack, start one thing finish one thing, unless something brakes in the mean time

ratbox, i head the same comments too, then from others i heard it was a great conversion ... so i bit the bullet and did it anyways figuring i had the parts and i could just revert to the 350 holley if it wasn't going to work.
what can i say, since that day i have done, 6 vk efi conversions into old holdens, 5 of them were worked motors and all are tunable when you know the secrets
my opinion, bang for buck you can't beat it! and one day when i get the time i will finish my conversion of putting VN V6 computer on the VK manifold on a holden 6 and that will just be the ultimate cheap option
