Many thanks Clay, that's the bell housing I have, but now with a Dellow hydraulic conversion bracket so I can keep my hydraulic setup. My issue was about clutch matching with black motor flywheel, but I've sorted that now with the purchase yesterday afternoon of a red motor flywheel So, hopefully l've got everything covered now.

Flywheel will need to be lightened substantially to suit the black 202 fully counter balanced crank Brett. If you have that bell housing there shouldn’t be an issue running the black clutch?

I didn’t know there was a hydraulic conversion for the pull fork. Any pics mate?

No no no. My motor is a 186, not a black 202. So red flywheel is perfect for that motor. Had a black 202 one which I could have used but clutch and pressure plate complications matching M20 four speed made it hard to get a clutch plate.
As for fork, will have a look and get back to you when I have it worked out.

The only reason all this is happening is that my 186 motor is currently having the crank balanced and they wanted the flywheel to balance at the same time. We then discovered that the flywheel I had was actually not a Holden red motor one but something totally different. So then I ended up with a black motor flywheel. That fitted the crank, but raised a new issue of matching the clutch plate with a black motor flywheel that also fitted on M20 input shaft. So to bypass that issue I tracked down a red motor flywheel so that an off the shelf LJ 2002 clutch kit would fit. You blokes gave me such a hard time about having a cable clutch that I bought a Dellow bracket that is supposed to bolt on and let me use an EK slave cylinder. I haven't fitted it all together and wont be going near it for a while.

Ok makes sense now but I don't think the dellow bracket will go on that bell housing. I reckon they are designed for the ht to hx rat trap housing which is push rather than pull.

Your old flywheel could have been for a landrover conversion perhaps. Was quite common as the holden pressure plate would result in a very heavy pedal in the landy.

the reason this conversion is good is because everything is available off the shelf at repco, dellow or rodshop for replacement.

ive got the hr diff, m20, dellow hydaulic clutch, chassis kit, 202 combo in EK225-18965-S and it rips mad skids.

Yes Clay, right on the money. I had a rummage around and I'm either going to have to find a hydraulic bellhousing that has a push fork ( is that the 'rat trap'?) or convert pedal to cable setup ( which I can buy off the shelf). I'm thinking the latter will be the most straight forward....

HT to HX are a mechanical set-up referred to as rat trap and prone to jamming, poor feel etc. Replaced with the fb ek slave cylinder on dellow bracket they work well. The cable set-up is pretty good also and may buy you some realestate on your firewall.

Happy to purchase the dellow bracket if you dont use it as I need one for the 3 speed going in the ute.

Cool. It's yours😀. Believe it or not I found a slave in my collection today that had one on it too. Hadlow or some name like that.
