That is what safety glass does. It breaks in to granules young fella. Happened to me passing a car and trailer at 110 in my EK sedan just north of Pt Pirie about 30 years ago. Screen went opaque with a wee hole I could see through to pull the car over. It only cuts you little bit rather than severing arteries.

... then you spend the next thirty years finding little glass cubes in unexpected places in the car

Only cockroaches and broken safety glass will survive a nuclear explosion.

Yeah, like i said i have quite a few but all scratched !!!

I will source some new pieces down the track and let everyone know where I got them for future reference.
