Is there a difference in size and hp needed to push the v6 or v8 vn vp t700.
What box will you be using mate.

Holley sniper EFI.
Vintage air ducted heat and cool.
Ek auto column shift.
Lj diff and reverse lights.

V6 T700 that was very kindly donated by NoMad , who I believe is a VERY happy boy today 8) 8) 8)
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Good stuff mate is that a sonic injection crank trigger set up I see there? What ignition are ya gunna run on it?

Yes it is , bought a coil pack kit from Shane as well , think they are AU coils
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Both boxes can be built to handle, the V8 one can take more though. i was told they both suck similar power but cant confirm that

Also the VN VP V6 is a Buick pattern not turbo pattern... but behind a 6 an adapter would be required regardless

and you cut an ear of the box to suit starter motor mounting

Two cylinders missing in my book but supercharged gets it over the line !!!

When we torture these engines on the race track they like to pull the caps away from the block and split the bores horizontally.

Keep the revs down and you should be right for a while anyway !!!

Gold rockers are tarnished from the exhaust heat :wink34: :wink34: :wink34:

Hi Blacky, do you have any detail on the “HR front with Cortina rack and Landcruiser brakes” adaption? Sounds interesting.

Will take some pics as it goes together mate, some of the lads in Vic are using this Cortina rack setup with good results , there was a guy doing the conversion in Vic but he is slow and impossible to get a hold of so I am going it alone , as for the Landcruiser brakes I have stolen that idea off Gledge , have a look at his build thread 👍

They are off my old speedway motor , 1.6 on the inlet , 1.5 on the zorst
