Mine runs a 161 and I'm like you quietly surprised as to how good they really are. I drive mine daily and in a week of driving I don't even use 30 litres of fuel.

I've got 4 myself its one way too keep busy (looking after them not making them but thats a good way to keep busy too) your wagon looks great is the bar in the back just for the baby seat and is it home made

Thanks guys. Graig the bar is really to mount the retractable belts, its not real pretty, and a little over engineered, but the of- the- shelf one's did not really impress me. Stingray, when we got the front vinyl just ordered a couple of extra mtrs of the roll to do the back, would of liked carpet, but with kids jumping in and out should be easy to keep clean. have bought a couple rear bumpers/overriders of ebay, but so far lucked out on the overriders being any good but will keep trying

any chance of a picture of under the dash mounting of this brake booster, also, what model car is it from ... might be worth looking into.

sorry sammy have not got-a-round to that photo, but the booster/cylinder is mazda rx2/capella. It only requires drilling four mounting holes, enlarging the push rod hole in the fire-wall, trimming the bonnet hinge, and enlarging the push-rod to brake pedal pin hole, and welding on about 2inch of plate (towards the drivers door) to existing pedal box, to back plate two of the four mounting holes that you drill. Just note that its a 7/8inch cylinder which works well with my hq front, and hr drum rear. i think if you are running four wheel disks you will need swap to a 1inch cylinder. the hard part might be getting booster cylinder, they like everything are starting to dry up.

Got the hard word from the 'boss' that its getting a bit hot, and that i should put the aircon in now .......... "happy wife happy life"



The unit is from desert coolers (the radiator mob) and cost $450. It comes with the under dash unit, fan and hot cold switch, mounting brackets. The items to the left did not come with it. the vents are out of a 3 cylinder charade, but they looked pretty easy to adapt for demisters or outlets which i will mount directly under the dash. ie you will just see the slit, the heater taps from rares and the vent lever is the standard fresh air vent lever, which if you reverse becomes the heat lever on your dash (for those that don't have a nasco heater)


I mounted the controls in the ash tray. you can see the two levers now for vent and heat



Its a tight fit but no cuting required. once the ductings in place you might just have room for some sunnies



All looks neat and hidden just got to get it plumed and gased and happy days (will let you all know if it works any good)
