One of these French Hell Driver LHD LJs was driven around Bathurst during the pre-race entertainment in 1972 or 73. He drove on 2 wheels for most of the track but fell back onto 4 wheels on several occasions.

In 1962 the Canadian Hell Drivers were on a world tour and a performance at the Wagga Showground was part of that tour. While in Australia the team used Holden cars for all their shows so they paid a visit to local dealer Wagga Motors, at that time located at 126 Fitzmaurice St, opposite the Duke of Kent Hotel. Recent posting on the HAMB of the Joie Chitwood show reminded me of this thread. 56 Chevs instead of EKs. I reckon the Canadian Hell Driver's cannon was cooler
