Well, still in the process of tidying this thing up...
Replaced all 4 original shockies, with Monroe GT Gas shocks. While I was scratching around up front, I noticed that both front springs had broken! I don't know if this was a combination of all the sand and crap built up around the base of them, plus the original shocks being flogged out, so the springs were doing all of the work....anyway replaced the springs as well with some lowered King Springs...
I also put some new rims and tyres on the old girl...
14" HT Holden rims
Maxxis Whitewalls 185/75/R14
In getting the new tyres at Peel Tyre Service
How she sits now...
Looking at lowering the ass end soon, and also adding some bullet centre caps...
Still chasing some parts - check out the wanted section!

Hey Paul,
It is a small world, the guy who owned it used to work for the same company as Gaz.
Hoping to get the harmonic balancer changed out and I'll bring it up to the AGM next month.
The sedan has been parked up at my parents place, I'm having a lot of fun cleaning this thing up!
Thanks, Nathan - just got to get that stance right now!!!

Have to suss out these spats when ya get the time, or I'll bring'em to the AGM.

I have some 2.5" blocks, but only 2 u-bolts long enough, so will have to order a new set, as spare u-bolts seem hard to come by.
Was thinking of using trevs famous method and 1.5" - maybe 2" blocks....

It definitely needed some TLC and a few bits and pieces when you first saw it Bob. Keen on that motor - if fiddy doesn't change his mind haha. Might have to have a shed clean out so I have some space to put it...and pay for it haha!
Will check out those spats, was going to run bullet centres, so I don't think they will work with them, but always handy to have if I decide to change things up... "Woodified" I might have to patent that word haha
