let it bake in the sun
supprised how many people stop and asked questions about the car

so after having the 32 outside for the week i noticed that the left hand rear fender was sitting on an angle and much lower than the other side
boys at work said to leave it no one would notice but it just did my head in the more i looked at it

had no choice so decided to cut it off and redo the bottom

worked out a pie cut to bring it back into shape

then with a bit of tweaking clamped it back together and reglassed the inside

came out alot better so im happy again

well the 32 came back to the workshop today
sent it out to get the exhast done dom from pretige exhast did an awsume job in stainless
this is the first time that the car has left my shop during the build
so with th coupe back i got back into finishing some items on the interior
i made up these 6mm solid alloy bar for the door trims
i drilled and tapped threads into the back side
i will polish these out to match all the chrome pieces inside
so i made up a overhead storage section to put things in
not alot of room in the 32
i made it with a concave shape that will tie in with the head lining
doors hinge down on a simple push to open mech
trying to get it done as i want it finished for my 50th in july
maybe not

Hi Mate I wasn't pushing I know you are busy sounds like you need to give up your job and become a full time motorcross dad
Love your coupe and look forward to seeing it again I just about have my ute rolling so I have been busy myself and am about to extend my home workshop another 18 m2 running out of room when it is only 6m x 6m and I have all of my shit in there
Give me a buzz when you get a free day.

well i got some more time on the 32 over the easter break
my son (jayden )didnt run the 1st state round due to an injury at the track through the week
sort of makes me happy to a certain degree i get a weekend off motocross
i finished up the bracketry for the alternator and now in the middle of setting up the air condissoner compressor
radiator hoses and the rest of the engine bay

just in the middle of making up the fuel lines from the tank
thought id put up a shot of how we did the ballance pipe on the exhast
this now doubles up as a tailshaft loop
il polish this out when i pull it down

also finished the running board steps
i didnt want to run full rubber as i want to see some colour
il polish these out also and run some sika to fix them down when we are doing final assembly

not long now before i pull it all down and put the chassis on 1 rotissery
and the body of the other
so i can start detailing it and get onto the paint
il post more pics as i progress a little further
