Its happened to me lots of times also. My attitude now if its meant to be it will be. Too many times ive bought something because there was an urgency that it might get sold only to regret the purchase.
Now I just think there is something better around the corner.
Some deals ive done have taken years to complete. The alfa I just bought took five years.

only happened to me once but got over it an A model roadster pickup new everything easy 10-15k worth for $1,500 the guy was getting divorced and had just sold his house and said he'de just go buy a finished registered rod missed it by about 15mins

I regret cars I've sold more than ones I've missed but figure there's nothing I've had that if I really wanted i could just build again
