The new fillers and high fills shrink because the beaters are too lazy to finish off the repairs with a fine grade of paper like 180.
The guy that works for me is always telling me you can fill 80 grit finishes. Its what the paint reps tell them to do.
I usually go over his repairs with 120 then 180 before i putty up.

Hey ease up on the beaters I lean more towards the painters spraying to heavy,to wet and not allowing flash off time between coats.

Dont worry mr bean im the beater and the painter.
I painted an slr torana today and the blend crazed up.
I have no idea what paint was under it.
Back to the drawing board im afraid.
