Easiest way is to drop the front, soak it in degreaser, chuck it in the trailer, go down to the the nearest car wash (preferibly where you dont normally go cause youll make a mess) and blast the sh*t out of it.
Ive got a diesel pressure washer at home and I still save those jobs for the pr*ck in town that screwed me over years ago! After hours is best

Ive used a heat gun and scraper/chisel.Works a treat on the underseal.
