Got the parts off a mate dropped into my letterbox at 7am.....!

Valve hadn't dropped into cylinder due to retainer pieces and middle section of valve spring cap being still attached to valve.
Unfortunately I messed up after trying for an hour to get the left over bits out and used a grinder to 'gently' strip off the left over bit. WHoops.
Screwed the value top up, so now it's head off time. Go team Maiki. *sigh*

four days till Chopped.

Engine back together and running well.....made the 3hr trip to CHOPPED car show at Newstead.....
Fun times drag racing in the mud and on the circletrack!

Bit too much fun. The water pump died, huge water leak.

Sourcing new one now to swap in (Car still in Castlemaine)
