Can you tell us anything about the jet sizes yet?
I think you had twin carbs on your humpy before. How does that setup compare to the triples?
G'day Andrew,
Well the triples have been on since before Easter with a mix of highway / town driving and I have to say they are an improvement over the twins. Unless you've driven it with the twins and now the triples its a bit hard to explain, I guess it runs smoother without any hesitation or stumbling at low around town speed.
I have to qualify that by saying my twins while they ran well didn't have venturi restrictors and ran size 46mains, I was happy with them but after I decided to go with triples I did a lot of research and I was lucky enough to time it with Harv putting together his Stromberg Information and posting it

(on ya Harv) And as I said earlier my wife Vicki's uncle is a mechanic who has been more than helpful with advice.
I wanted to do the whole thing myself and I did with the exception of getting the throttle bodies rebushed and fitted with red motor butterflies so I could link them together without external linkages hanging off the side of the manifold. Andrew as you know any modifications to my motor will differ from others so what works well with mine may not work as well for others, so I run a 30/70 cam, slight head work, extractors and electronic ignition. The triples are running 44mains with venturi restrictors and the restrictors narrowing the flow make the 44's work well, it's not running lean as can be seen from plug reading and I have no trouble starting it cold
Like I said anyone who tunes their own car can tell easily if its running right or not, and mine has never run better. Look forward to getting a road report from you when you get that Eric Grey Motor out on the road.
Mick
