The promoters don't. But it came about due to constant criticism from entrants and this seemed to be a common year from those who made the most noise.

That's fair enough. Maybe they should just ban all post '66 cars, coz if people with '66 to '76 cars have to send in a photo, who or what decides whether it's "kustom" or "cool" enough to enter :mrgreen:

thanks for the pics, i love bare metal but it seems to becoming the flat black of the 2010's, also love the rocker covers on the small block in the EK wagon 8)

I hear ya Mick! As for that small block it sounded pretty tough. The guy who owns it got it not long ago and is loosing the scoop and putting a normal bonnet back on it. Should be a good sleeper then.

As for the Kustom Nats as of this year there was prize money offered for the top trophies and with even more planned changes for next year to make it even better!
