Nice looking project mate  I love the green but paint the car whatever colour you like!

Have you considered a satin (semi gloss) paint job? Would still have an awesome rat vibe but stand out from the other matt black rides out there

The worst thing you can do is put a car under a tarp, especially with the weather weve been having round here lately.

Theres not much else that will help a car rust out quicker, its like putting it in a humid glasshouse.

It would be better left uncovered with the plugs out of the floor for the water to run out ,and at the mercy of the elements.

See...Matt...it's now only 5 weeks to go!
A low sheen paint scheme would look tough... 8)
It looks like a nice clean unit to do anything with...I'd say add a bit of customizin' to it...but I am Bias!

i lost sleep over the car being tarped so i checked on it whilst it was raining and the car is bone dry and not showing any signs of humidity or wet under carriage. the tarp is not wet on the inside so the car cover is bone dry. no water is even really getting under the car so im relieved. she'll be sweet. i know a plastic tarp would $*#@ it but this tarp might be better than the garage.

What's it really matter if you're turning it into a rat anyway? It'll just give it more character

If you want your doors to close, then Rare Parts is the go for your door rubbers. I spoke to them last week, and apparently an old fella comes in about once a week to hand make them to order
