I have done both (Removing and refitting all the chrome) or having steve de and re-assemble after painting. Normally if I am having all the chrome redone, I reassemble and disassemble. Of coarse one makes a saving if they are handy with removal and replacement.
If you need re-fabrication Ultimate are great. Steve folds his own metal for the cars. Doesn't use after market rust panels.
