Thanks John , get them to put a baffle in for sure , the fuel will slosh from side to side without it , cant see why they didnt do that ? They will have to fasten it to the bottom also , make sure they do or it will work on the weld if only fastened at the top and end up cracking them .

Also , if it is not already done , get them to tig around the inside of the hole in the top that they cut for the filler to join the two together ,also the one you are going to cut for the sender etc , otherwise you will get fuel leaking out between them if you just fasten something to the top .

Baffle is going in today, and yep, definately welded around the bottom of the filler neck BEFORE the neck is welded in.

Only thing left to organise will be the sender unit. Aftermarket one I guess.
Not all chemicals are bad. Without chemicals such as hydrogen and
oxygen, for example, there would be no way to make water, a vital
ingredient in beer

i know this is an oldish post but there is an easier way,
there is a foam product used in racing cars that comes in one inch cubes you keep shoving it in till its full .
the cubes are really porous and only use 1 percent of the volume they stop the sloshing really nicely
cheers !
