I remember back in the very early 80's reading mags 'Custom Vanner'? Or something like that, lots of vans like these, bedfords etc
Real cheesey - Lots of wizards and topless chicks painted on the sides, loads of velvet in the interior, mirrors on the roof etc etc
I used to think thought they were so cool
Loads of work put into them

My tastes have changed somewhat these days

Prefer the velvet, murals and ceiling mirrors in my bedroom nowadays

I would say that van is neither Invader 2000 or Mandarine Dragon. Way too many differences. Nosecone is different, window skirts are different, door handles, lower side skirts different, HQ side vents. Different roof spoiler and the Manta flares end in a different place and are shapped different also. Many more, why do all that to an ex show van, better off starting with a basic van.... I would say some one had a huge fascination with Invader and wanted some thing like it, by the way i heard from a good source that Invader's front was cut off and put on a ute and the rest of the body went to the wreckers in Melbourne, as for Mandarine Dragon, what fool would destroy such a van, let alone cut side windows in it. All 3 different vans if you ask me.
