You can use a screw driver and just unscrew it.

Light switch - switch headlights on , push the little button on the top of the switch block in , pull light switch rod out then unscrew the screw to remove switch block.
Ignition , turn all the way anticlockwise , stick a piece of solid wire ( I use oxy tip cleaners) in the little hole and turn to the left then pull out. If it hasnt been out for 50 years this will take abit of buggerising around :evil:
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Theres a grub screw under the knob and then tap the retainer with a screwdriver (wiper knob)
