Well ,after lots of buggerising around , i.e. , when I pulled the pistons out to hone the bloody thing I found out the crank was knackered , then took 3 cranks to find a good one , today we stuck it back in and fired it up :D :D :D :D

Now I just need to get it licenced again and we will be good to go to the Pipeline cruise next weekend :D

Good to hear you got her sorted. Was raceing at wannaroo a few weeks back and got talking to a nice old bloke (Neville Cooper) who turned out to have big racing career back in the 60s 70s. Bored me shitless when he started on greys  but it seems a shame all this knowledge on relieving/polishing oil galleries to stop crank failures is fadeing away with these old timers. I guess they had a headstart back then with brand new cranks.

Well done Blacky. Let's hope it doesn't give you the grief it did during last year's Nationals.

How so early?

Good work - I think I will come home early on Sunday so that I can see this thing running and driving!

They open at 6:30 at Welshpool now - I normally get there at 6 and they used to open at 7:30 , I was half asleep when the bloke tapped on the window and scared the tripe out of me !
