Found this on page 91 of your guide where it talks about the decrease in pressure when adding an additional carb:

"Note also that in fitting venturi sleeves, the signal sent to the main metering system is much stronger (i.e. the main metering jet gets “sucked on” harder. This can lead to the main metering system running rich. When fitting venturi sleeves, the main metering jets will need to be decreased in size to account for this(see tuning notes below)."

So my next question is has anyone on here fitted venturi sleeves to their BXOV-1's when changing to a twin carb setup or have they done without them and just reduced the metering jet? Sorry if I am sounding uneducated ... probably because I am :lol:

Yep I fitted them, did not try the carbs without.
I am using 46 main jets and the mixture is very good. (maybe very slightly rich, beats being lean though)
