Re: Flamed EK--STOLEN
more to the maybe council/scrappers took it, was talking to a mate yesterday that does this as part of his job councill gives his boss a list of cars to be picked up, his boss only out of common courtesy (he doesn't have to) goes and knocks on the doors and notify's the owners that unless they move the car it will be picked up tomorrow and gone forever

the owners get notified by council aswell

Re: Flamed EK--STOLEN
That happend to me
I had my leg in plaster for 3 months, one moring just as i was having a coffee i see my old HQ wagon being towed off down the road
the only notification i got was a sticker on the windscreen of the vehicle, but with a broken leg I never saw it !
the council wanted $$$ to get it back, so i let them keep it as it was only a HQ that i paid $300 for and drove into the ground.

Re: Flamed EK--STOLEN
yep that's the council notification a sticker if you don't see it
that's why my mates boss goes and does a door knock just a nice guy i spose cause he doesn't have to do it
Re: Flamed EK--STOLEN
Good ole council ay
Car wasn't on roadside at the time, maybe it would have been better off there!!!!
I think its probably in the back of someones panel shop somewhere and that is the end of that.....
Something to do with gangs, and being above the law, and former mates who sell you out for a "greener" pasture....
Maybe putting it on the news is dumb but you know, I think most people are generally straight up and anyway....... what do you do....

Re: Flamed EK--STOLEN
that's the worst thing unless you know where the car is there's nothing you can do and it's no help being on the opposite side of the country
the one thing on yor side there's quite a few WA boys on here hopefully they may see something
