Still haven't finished yet but she is on the road and the missus took some shots.. Interior seat still needs colour change and the dash needs more chrome on it yet and a centre console is going in. exterior also needs to be cut and polished as well as chrome put back on and as for the rims still need to get the wide stockies and hubs back on the front to match the rear set up. As for the engine bay it requires some bling as well..

MY Father always said do the hard part first --because when you are OVER IT you only have the easy part left to do THINGS I HAVE TRIED TO LIVE BY
Billy,
By memory it's a HR radiator and it's mounted flush against the wall and as for the fan i gave the measurements to the guy and we found biggest slimline to fit in. I'll see about getting some more details when i'm back down working on the ute next and try and get a better shot.
Vintage,
We made up some pipe that split of three ways from the feed that almost looks like a W on top of the single pipe so that the hoses can fit on. I need to alter it as the new piping these days doesn't bend to well and i've just made up a quick fix to keep it running at the moment which i'm not happy with as it looks ugly. I'm going to tranfer it to a L shape with the W on top as such or just us an elbow out of sight. I'll take some shots as i do it and place it for you, I'm going to do it myself to save some money plus the guys down here don't understand the set up. Then i'll dyno it and fiddle with the tunning with the guys who did the conversion in the first place.
nineteensixtytwoek,
Sorry the numbers on the keyboard aren't working as for the swap mmmmmm tempting but i need the ute to get my bike around as the trailer is always full as were renovating the yard and house.
Know that things are finally going and she's been on the road for while time for more work and tinkaring as money comes available.
1st idea body strengthening kit..Where's the best place to get it or can you build yourself if so how?
2nd idea engine area to upgrade to V8 or to build a tougher 6 with blower/turbo to keep the ol skool look. If converting what do i need and do and get?
3rd start repairng some of the body defects and whilst adding strengthening kit..
Take in mind she's not a show pony but a daily driver and money is of the essence got to do any work at a very tight budget.
just an update will be finally getting the dyno run and reco of the gas diaphrams etc on the 19th. Lets hope for some good figures and results considering the guys who done the certificate when i got it back on the road were supposed to do this. Glad to be taking it back to its grass roots to the original fitter at albion who was glad to see it again...
Since the dyno things are running sweet apart from still needing a better ignition system but that's on hold for possible engine upgrades. But for now i've just scored a HQ front end for the brakes and stubs as well as a VN v8 disc brake locked diff which i'll have to work out what is involved in fitting it in. More hours of fun ahead....
