Got a set of these 6x14 ROH with good backdpace for the king pin front.Image
Also a set of these 14x7 Samson ones which foul top control arm on lockImage
Casting isn’t as deep on these so could run 8mm spacers on front.

The sevens on the rearImage
Tyre is 215/65/14 but no air in it.

I was thinking sixes on the front and sevens on rear, a tried recipe. But they are slightly different. So thinking to run all sixes. I prefer the look of the seven inch Samson’s though. Probably get it lower with the sixes.Image
I’m easily distracted from this bodywork, but I did paint all the remaining bare steel with metalfix. The radiator support and cargo wall.Image
They’ll get a squirt with clinker grey and body colour respectively.

Hi Clay, I am watching your radiator install with interest. I have been toying with the idea of dropping a 202 two core radiator in the grey motored ute (sometime in 2021 when I get to the ute!). Is this a crazy idea? Are there standard radiator hoses that will fit?

Frankly Brett it is an overkill. HR hoses or whatever with some cutting to fit.

If it weren't for the precut hole I would run a three fine core standard top and bottom tank.

The only major bit I hadn't removed from the car was the steering column. Well bugger it, Gledgend shamed me in to painting the engine bay and also I decided to give the interior a quick rub and squirt. So pulled it out. Good opportunity to revisit my indicator wiring instal. The care came sans indicators, which were an option for non special FBs. One of the first things I did was replace the jury rigged setup in the car with parts from an EK column. Yes I'm still administering anti immune drugs to the loom to prevent it from rejecting the car, boom boom.

Took out the glove box lid, ashtray etc. The pedal box and accelerator are definitely staying. And yes I have the shims Rosco.

I guess I'll pull out the EK wiper shafts and actuator arms so I don't have to mask them. I don't know.

Bit sad my GVM placard didn't stand up too well to the gurney. ImageImage

Wow...... not much more to remove there Clay. I might be mistaken but ..... I thought you had one or two sets of wheels already? Anyway keep at it, looking good

Pull the GVM label off and replace it - there are new ones floating about and looks like your rivets have been played with at some stage - at least that way you know behind the tags lurks no crusty stuff

You going to move the top mount brackets on the rad support so they line up to the new locations?

No Rob, but I'll paint it black so won't see it. I have other supports that don't have those tabs. More likely I will convert the opening back to stock one day....
