Yeah Finny,

little progress, Rust has been cut out of the FrontGuard where the battery was, and stated replacing with the section i got from Blacky (Cheers - even though it was many moons ago now)

Front Seat has been stripped down and all the frame work getting a good clean up before it gets put away for a while before i get to the trimming stage....

started coming up with ideas for rear lighting in the pillars, and working on the sump to suit the HR Front with the Rack & pinion...

soory guys no real photo's to show yet as soon as stuff's finished i'll put up the before and after pics... am also picking up a ute (HQ - aquamarine mettallic, 253, 4 speed on gas, GTS everything and dragways) next week for a daily driver so that will be getting a couple of weeks of attention to tidy it up nice...

cheers for the interest!

....that's right bells are going off... had an hour or 2 to myself this arvo and did a little work...

after having to go get a new sander, discs etc... cause the old one shat itself so did the usual 5 mins (1.5hr) trip to bunnings... then lunch... and realised i had about 15 mins left but streched that out and got to work on the brake booster...

enjoy... grinding/ sanding not compeleted yet and i want to make us some sapces as i want to booster just off the firewall...

8) 8) 8) 8) 8) Looking good. Is that a 7" dual booster? Looks the same as the unit I have. They fit well and stop anything!

Also a shot from underneath, the Tank needs a new clean and fresh coat of underbody in some areas, but this is just to so off the Diff Assembly, which i'm also pleased with, would be great if it never came out again....

Hi what sort of tank did you use??? Cheers mark

Mark,

It's an XB/XC f*RD tank,

it looks different to most that do that conversion because rather than go for the drop tank and easier fitup, i mounted in the correct way so the senders towards to front of the car...bit of extra work but prefer it that way...

cheers
