With the Chrissy hols and another 2 weeks recently at Yamba...just thought I'd rub that in...we have fitted in a few more rust repairs...
First thing in order was to turn Old Timer around because we're now working on the rear end...first time its 'moved' in 2 years...yay!
First job...move all the crap out of the way...
Here comes the sun...
a future driver...
wish the garage looked like this more often...
back in...
first job was the 'holy' cross brace...
find those spot welds...
out it comes...
a bit more cleaning to do...the steel chisel is one of the best $20 I've spent...
a trip to the local steel suppliers, get it cut to size, folded and drill out the spot weld holes and we are in business...
welded in by Luis...
ground back an finito...

yep Yamba...the thought did cross my mind Jay - many thanks for the invite...trouble is our drive from Sydney to Yamba is a bit like a Cannonball Run...leave at 4am, one stop breaky, one stop petrol and arrive at 1.30pm...

Steaming along nicely, Stewart.... don't stop now!
BB - he's got a "wax" model of himself..... I guess being a PS - no one would pick him missing until it approached knock off time each day....... you'd expect some movement around then.... must have a "cunning plan" for the "stand in" from 4pm onwards each day....
frats,
Rosco

thanks guys...
ha ha BB and Rosco...possible scenario "...has anyone seen Stewart?...he must be here as his computers on...oh yes his bag is at his desk and a jacket hanging at the back of his chair...I thought I saw him this morning...anyone seen Stewart...?"
seriously after 2 years Luis and I have it down to a fine art of making the most of small amounts of time on working on the rust repairs.
