Thanks fellas.

Basic Green The plates will be the same as your saying (top one white)
I only painted the back of the top one black
Great minds think alike hey :!:

Do you think it would be worth protecting the breather on the base of the booster?
I noticed in Dave68's there is none.

Just noticed something in Dave68's last pic.

Would there be a reason for the loop in the bottom brake line :?:

Don't know. I asked him to put it where you want yours and run the lines down and back up, but this is what I got. I will be changing it when I paint it....

Guys,
The loop in the pipe is normally for vibration and fatigue sort of a shock absorber.
Just another observation copper pipes are illegal in NSW.

These are copper coated. Put a magnet on them and it stuck..... I asked the same question when I picked it up.

For some reason Bundy tube is now copper coated, I had the same questions when we did mine. Maybe its to prevent rust?

Gee Wayne,
your on the move with this car..

Im pretty angry about your paint .. off the gun - and acrilic - very nice work..

Bet your missus was out for the day - mine would have made noises about hangin out the wet metal to dry on her line..

Booter - got mine under the bonnet but like your idea..
I'd make sure nothin could get into the intake - maybe even fit some large pvc tubing to take air in from in the interier or engine bay.
Each time you put the brakes on its gunna suck air in to get rid of the vacum in the booster. and the eingine has to suck it out again from the other side to get them off..
Mine has a fome filter held in place by a wire - I'd be looking at making sure thats clean and in good nick too..

Just thinkin again - I like where you want to put it - it makes sense with the way the pipes will make connections. their gunna be short and close to where its gunna hook up.
But theres a prpblem I can see - its all in the line of fire from the rear of the wheel.
You might like to look at pointin it the other way with the booster tank facin the front.. yur got a nice big pice of tube to make all the mounts solid.

Have you thought of maybe puttin a sheild plate in front of it - doesn't have to be sealed box tight just to stop anyting goin at it from the tyre. Maybe sort of a bended shape so stuff runs off and doesnt get held up on it anywhere.. but bolted on so you can get if off if you need to bleed the brakes..just what Im thinkin for you..

Pipes - pretty sure copper is out in vic .. bundy tube is steel but coated in copper as the blokes above have said - bit harder to bend but steel is steel..

I know a engenier will want all pipes fixed to the body they get a bit funny about loose pipes especieally where there's wheels and damage from rocks logs rabits and roos..
I got told off for using cable ties. I was told they cause the outside of pipes to wear - somethin about the pipe expanding when the brakes are on and no give in the cable tie. I had to put open sided clips or ones with rubber inside them with mine..

Yur going great - I bet your one happy fella?
