I think it will make it but with the amount of body roll they have we might need another set of door handles.
It will be there on sunday. Book me a spot pete im coming as well.

Did you end up using a Betta windscreen rubber instead of the Rares one? I'm interested to hear how their rubberware in general compares to the Rares stuff.

Hey Andrew, long time no see mate!

We used the Betta rubbers, and according to Dave, the guy that installed the screens had no issues. Stewart also had endless dramas with the Rares rubbers, and used Betta ones in the end as well.

Come to think of it, I'm trying to think of a repro part we used (apart from Betta's) that we didn't have a drama with . Even the new repro door handles are playing up :roll:

Yeah mate I've been busy with things...
Not surprised by the door handles not working. I took my original ones apart and got the handles and buttons rechromed. Got new O-ring rubbers from eBay (the ones that go on the button) and recently reassembled them with the original innards. I put them on the car using a Betta rubber gasket kit. They work a treat and look great with the scratch plates against new paint.
