They look a bit like the rubbers which go between body and front guard tops where they butt up to the plenum cover.

Parcel turned up yesterday thanks Harv. Mother was a bit confused as it looked like a box we used to have. Magic boomerang. Go the yoots.

No drama, and many thanks for the swap.

Dropped the old tonneau off at the trimmers, should have a new one early next week.

Cheers,
Harv

Forgot to post the photo below. When Clay sent the EK hubcaps from SA, I cleaned them up, polished them, repainted the centres then put them on Grace's ute. During the clean-up, one of the caps had this on the back:

Looks like it came off an Electricity Trust of South Australia (ETSA) vehicle.

That is off the van Harv. Now I’m rifling through my stash to make sure I’ve still got one with the numbers.

Finally managed to get a tonneau made up to replace the old buggered one.

Figured I would go for the little bungee loops rather than the length of bungee cord. It’s a little bit more modern looking (not a good thing), but will stop the bungee cord from rubbing the paint off the side of the ute (the old cord sat on the paint, and had rubbed it back to bare metal over time). The new tarp fits well – would recommend the guys:

Canvas Workshop
Address: 28/13 Berry St, Clyde NSW 2142
Phone: (02) 9637 7916

I have to make up another tonneau bow though… Grace stole the one from my trailer  .

The ute was a little sluggish… the new carpet, underlay and dynamat was stopping full accelerator pedal travel. A little careful pedal bending, and it’s going like a rocket again  .

Worked out that the fuel gauge isn’t too reliable either – at least it had the decency to run dry in the driveway  .

Cheers,
Harv

Very nice. I’ve been looking at the ones on eBay with pin and or press stud options. They’re surprisingly affordable which may be an indication of poor quality.

Looks great Harv,
Should keep the weather out no probs. What was the damage to have it made up?

Love the paint finish on the ute and note the great reflection.

Cost $250 to get the tonneau made up (material + labour).

Looking great Harv - I'm having an exact copy of my original tonneau made at the trimmers doing my seat if anyone wants one - it's the tab and press loop type rather than the buggy option which seamed to be the two options at the time.
