The bumpers are still at the chrome platers , I will not be running a tonneau for now , dont want to drill holes for the press studs, and the original setup looks pox IMHO.
I am going to try and get the original plates reissued , if that cant happen then the CROOZING plates will go on it.

Spent 2 hours last night stripping down the headlight switch , cleaning all the parts and repairing the dimmer rheostat , got the rest of the wiring finished off , now everything works as it should.
Bloody 12 volts

give me 11000 to play with , its heaps easier than this fiddly stuff
Need fuel lines , vacuum lines and a tailshaft and shes drivable

just don't touch the wrong thing with 11000 volts
at this rate you'll have it finished and near worn out by the nationals

Got some soapy pillows of goodness and cleaned up some old chromies that I had lying around - these will do until the skogs/herberts are ready to roll

I take great pleasure in announcing the birth of a Banff Blue FB ute - at 8:15 pm on Saturday April 10 she fired into life for the first time since 1987
Ute is fine , but my head hurts
I have the same drama as discussed on the forum the other day though - the front carb seems to be doing bugger all and the back one is doing all the work - you put your hand over the front carb and it keeps running pretty much as it was but if you put your hand over the back one it just about pulls your hand down the carb

suggestions ????
