A couple of more things ticked off the very long list of things to do.
All inner door seals fitted
Glove box lid fitted
Heater control fitted
Gauge Cluster fitted
Rear mud flaps fitted
At present I am trying to fit all the outer seals and scuff plates which has actually become bigger than Ben Hur. As we replaced all the inner and outer sill panels, the holes for the scuff plates have to be re-drilled. Rare Spares (god love em) have provided the new scuff plates but there has been a fair bit bending, twisting, grinding and re-shaping just to get them lined up.

That yellow is really a beautiful colour.
A bit late for this project, but I would recommend Sam Crupi's stainless repro scuff plates. Bolt in fit (no cutting), beautifully stamped lines, and a nice bloke to deal with.

Yes I have dealt with Sam before, super nice guy and very helpful, in fact the colour of this car is courtesy of a paint code supplied by Sam 
I ight have to touch base with him again as one of the plates I'm definitely no happy with.
Next job removing all the doors to fit the outer doors seals

Is that the same colour as Jeremy's wagon - thats an amazing car - my favourite at the nationals for sure
Great resto EffBee - simple beautiful - the reverse detail on the gauges works very well too - lifts it nicely but you'll need to be careful what globes you put in to limit glare but an easy adjustment.

Yes Wal, it's the same paint code as Jeremy's wagon. When I bought the car it had been completely stripped with no ID tag (see the first pic I posted), so I had no idea what the original paint or interior codes were. So for a long period of time I was trying to decide what colour scheme I was going to use. When I saw those photo's of Jeremy's wagon at the Nationals I knew straight away that was the colour, it was an absolute standout imo. My only regret was not being able to see it in person (I'm sure it was just as good if not better in the flesh)
So I went about tracking him down through here, managed to get hold of Sam (awesome bloke), told him my story and they were more than happy to send me the paint code. Got it made up over here in acrylic and even straight off the gun you could tell it was gunna look smick.
So from an ugly duckling "Bitsa" (it has a number of different panels and parts from different cars) it has been reborn. So as the car has now been given a new lease of life and the fact that my girls (I have 3 teenage daughters) keep banging on about giving the car a name I have decided to call her/him "Frankie", short for Frankenstein. I know this is not an original name, I think FireKraka has a "Frankenstein Ute" but it just seems to fit and my wife and I also have a bit of thing for "Frankie Doyle" off the aussie TV series Wentworth
So I went about tracking him down through here, managed to get hold of Sam (awesome bloke), told him my story and they were more than happy to send me the paint code. Got it made up over here in acrylic and even straight off the gun you could tell it was gunna look smick.

Very nice - Jeremy is a lovely bloke too - the whole family are car nuts and really nice people - Sam is going to the 2020 nationals as is Jeremy I believe so you can get a wagon and sedan side by side combo - awesome

Yep, fantastic colour by the photos. I guess they colour matched for acrylic to paint the car you guys are talking about, and they have let you have the formula. Generous of them and big win for you Effbee.
