Not much to spend working on the car a few hours, every few weeks, i ended up getting George ( Aliens Columns ) to do my column, as i did'nt like the commodore column,

it 's come up great, George does a great job,
i did the B&M sports shifter mounts on the car, so thats ready to

cut the bonnet catch and rewelded it so that fits nice now.

sent it off( to the chrome shop) along with the radiator support and two rings i made up for the gauges to fit proper

i was going to fix up my steering wheel myself

but after looking at pearlCraft's work ,i sent it to Wayne & family to do there work
next job is to finish off the engine bay

I'm so glad i got Pearl Craft to do it and for $600. the best money i've sent for a while and it's sitting on George's column great combo

sprayed the steering column the other a just so I could put it all back together as I got the honey pot polished,

also changed my front seat belts with retractable ones.

I finally got the ok with an engineer i wanted to go with. i sent him photos and a link to hear so he could see whats been done and he's happy with it, just got to send some photos of the seat belt anker points,then Ive just got to get an under-dash panel fabricated up for the air con lovers and i'll be on the home stretch

I've been looking at what and how to put four air con vents into the EK dash. An under-dash fabricated panel was looking like my only option, then i found these,Chevy Air Conditioning Vents, Dash, 1955-1957 , they're smaller than the original chevy ones and no need for an under-dash fabricated panel as they fit on the curved bottom of the dash.if you go onto this site and then click on the more product info and load the pdf file it shows how to fit them.

just have to find out if i have the room (as the chevy is a touch bigger) than the EK ,I'll call an air con shop to find out for sure but it looks like it should fit and look great as well

Speedy Air Spares has similar to that for a lot less. Might be worth a look?
