My original Corana Grey / Arctic Beige will stay original for now. Luckily my rust is only a bit of surface dust in places but every original car will eventually have to bite the bullet on this front at some time in the future.
I understand that you can still get nitrocellulose paint ( used on guitars sometimes I read) but it's not easy to get a good shop to mix and apply it in a minimal (touch up) fashion it seems. I'm told (by some) that I am mad for not just going for 2 pak.
Someone said putting a bit of kero in the wash bucket can help lol. Can't do any harm I guess.
cheers

Carlsbad black available across entire production May/June 60 to 1965 when Warrigul Black came in.........

Hi Guys.
I've just noticed this thread (great info Steve, I will have some more info to add later).
Tim, I believe that your comment regarding Carlsbad Black is not correct. To my knowledge, Carlsbad was only used from June 60 to the end of EJ production. EH used Warrigal Black. I've recorded many EHs in Warrigal (mostly Premiers), even 2 very late EJs. However I've never sighted an EH in Carlsbad. All my literature also backs this up.
