the paint is acylic, i don't like 2 pac it looks plastic. the only 2 pac is in the engine bay as it is more resistant to oil etc. thanks for your comments its alabour of love. or as my missus would say a sickness, she'd much rather i was this energetic about house work.

All my customers want two pac they have been brainwashed into thinking acrylic is no good. A decent acrylic job looks just as good if not better than 2 pac especially on an old car. If its based up with two pac primmers fillers they say it will last longer also.
My corvette has a 20 year old acrylic job on it and it still looks fine.
My biggest dissapointment at the all holden day was the fj wagon looking like the car had been dipped in .
By the way well done hopefully ill see you cruising around penrith. Just watch the coppers on thursday nights.

my days of cruisin macas on a thursday night are gone. i do agree with you about the sell job people have been sold on 2 pac. my drive car the VC commy was in a small front ender and the only option you have is 2 pac. i then had to get my mate to paint the rest to match as they looked so different. then about 6 months later a bird shit on the roof and it ate in. so much for hard 2 pac.
and yes there is nothing worse than an old car with a glistening plastic looking 2pac paint job . they didn't come out of the factory like that. thats my winge for the day.

Great lookin' car Dave....
You've turned a somewhat unloved unregistered car into a thing of beauty.
Scotty.
