yeah i had one on the front and one on the rear.
when one came loose it then let the other one come off.
luckily we did have the winch cable still attatched.

I picked up a Morris for Blacky(in a bit of a rush), forgot the rope so I just winched it on the trailer so the front wheels hit the bar on the trailer to stop it rolling forward and locked the winch were it was then put the hand break on, no probs , Trev .

picked up an EJ last week kinda same thing happened had to give the brakes a stab (stoopid kangaroos ) which undid the straps think the only thing that kept the car on the rest of the way home was the flat tyre

i want to do the current EK outside try an experiment my best cars were done in the big blue shed since i've had sheds i've slackened

the best part is the "handbrake" hasn't got a key for the garage so i'll be able to buy stuff and put it in the shed and she won't even know till its already on the car
RB, i'm glad it was you trusting a flat tyre to keep the car on the trailer, the highway up here is that bumpy and full of potholes it'd bounce off the trailer in no time.
hopefully now the progress pics will be a lot more interesting than "i sanded this panel this week, i'll be welding this hole up next week" f88k that was even starting to piss me off.

Gotta be happy with that Luke!! Bet it made the neighbours look when you wheeled her in........ great stuff, makes it alot easier when your toy's in a shed!

yeah it did a bit. it especially helps when it's in a shed thats not 45 mins away too . none of the funiture or anything had turned up yet then we brought the ek in the driveway (got to have the priorities right). i think every person in the surrounding three streets walked around to find where it was going to.

aust, the mufflers just a 2 1/2 inch hotdog with a 3 inch dump pipe stolen off my vc commonwhore i used to have.
didn't get much done today due to a torn muscle in my back, got the guages fitted up to where i think i want them.

you guys'll have to get off your butt and come over for a coffee and gasbag, it's been a while and you'll finally be able to meet K2,

well, i've actually gotten a bit done since the last update.
finally got the roof smooth and sanded up ready for topcoat .


then i got real carried away with things



so i'm really stoked about how its coming along now. i am sooo happy i have the car here now, rather than 1/2 a day a week to work on it.
now i just need to get the rest of it ready
