Hosed everything out I recon there was about 1 kg of dirt but no sockets haha

Same as before. Plate just sitting in at the moment so it’s a bit low once I lift it and weld it, it will be good

Other corner now fully welded just need to grind back and clean up

Chassis strengthening plates tacked on ready to seam weld

Good stuff Dave. Can you tell me what gauge/thickness the reinforcing plates are?

Thanks Dave I guessed they’d be 3mm. Thinking about when I do my subframe after the main shell.

I originally had them welded to another front end but cut them off and put on the new one. Much better doing it this way as I originally welded them laying under the car…….never again
