Well after the window jam has been blasted and treated that is as many rust holes as the old girl had hiding so I am happy hopefully the apprentice finishes the bet and blasts the back window
Thanks to fingers I have got my steering wheel so hopefully soon I will be getting some pics up of it painted in the pearl I bought to see how it looks
Whoever had the job of applying the tar to the firewall back in the day wasn't shy with the gun pitty they didn't tell him to put a coat over the floor as well but it is cleaned up now
Cracks die grinded and filled with a two part epoxy bonding agent I am not sure what others have used so guess I will find out how this works once fully cured in a couple of days
Well the steering wheel is done but not happy with the paint job but very happy with the colour so the white will be also used as the two tone section of the body on the Ute and even on the sedan when I get back to it
In the Shed wrote:Nice job Toey, I like the white finish. Curious to know what was the epoxy you used to fill the cracks?
Regards
Stephen
The epoxy I used was a wurth product called power bond it is a metal bonding glue we use to glue quarter panels roof skins and door skins on cars it is also available in other brands like 3m and lord fusor
