Noticed the read main seal leaping the other week so had to pull the engine and sort of got side tracked

While the engine was out thought I would make some log headers

Lost a day

Then back. Into it

Put the oldest boy to work with the bunnings dynamat

Also have to pull the rear screen and cure some cancer who knows maybe a roof boot colour change as well

Looking good mate. Did the ol girl have insul mat in befor?? How much diff does it make?

There was normal insulation under the carpet but still to much noise inside the cabin for the wife
Will be a month or so before the fk hits the streets again so I will let u know if the bunnings dynamat does the job
Question when I cut the sub frame for log header clearance I welded in 2mm sheet metal do u guys reckon this will do the job as I would hate to hit a bump and turn the old girl into a banana

Searsy,

If you weld the inner guards back then that should be strong enough. Have you got strengthening plates under the bottom rails ?

Iam going to weld the old extractor holes up and yes there r strenghtening plates installed

The nights a pup mate..........but with an angle grinder and leaping seals at this time of the nite my neighbour becomes real biach .... :lol: :lol:
