How did you go with the engine mounts?bumper wrote:Turns out auto is rooted!! So doing a full heavy duty rebuild on it!!

When you put the engine, check your firewall clearance, I only had a 2mm clearance so had to notch the firewall for clearance. What are you doing with your exhaust manifolds?

Re: FBSSS
Buying the adapters from CRS, then they say to buy HK-G engine mounts, yeah that's why I want to check, heard the firewall is tight on passenger side,
I picked up a set of the CRS extractors that go out the subframe, going to send them to jethot in castlemain to get them coated, cheers for your help scoob

The x-member mounts are wider than the engine mounts. Am In the process of trying to find out what type of mounts rods racks intended to use, any one know some one with a rods rack front end???
I've looked through your posts about 100 times already looking for hints scoob, it is a big help thanks

Re: FBSSS
Cheers guys, was considering selling the 5ltr to put a chev in, be allot easier! Lol
But think I should stick with the orig plan! Knowing my luck the motor I'd buy would need a rebuild!
Will post some more pics shortly, not allot been done this week as been making phone calls and sending emails!!

And here I was thinking I was the only one who had the 3 time problemSC00BB wrote:Welcome to the world of FBEK Holdens.
Had plenty of those situations during my build.
Just got to be patient and learn to do things 3 times
Must be able to buy some more patience some where
