And 90% of the calls were blokes who wanted to watch their missus ,or blokes hoping to convert him

the temptation is great
got offered an '83 scottsdale C10 chev pickup and $1000 for the EK as it sits tonight only real prob pickup is LHD and can't get LHD rego for another 2 years
but might be able to drive it on permits
a scottsdale is like the statesman of pickups air, steer, cruise, elec windows, central locking etc etc

I find that finishing what you started a very satisfying thing to do....I could
NEVER sell off a 1/2 finished project ... I'd be left with that 'I wonder what it'd would have really been like' feeling.
I know that you have other projects on the 'simmer', Mick...but I'd love to see this one in the finished state.
Scotty.

yeh i'm just being a sook
can't remember selling an unfinished project but then my cars are never really finished
but if it's registered and driveable i consider that finished to a point
just work on one at a time otherwise end up with a shed full of unfinished wrecks
pissed off to wateing for flake missing good weather to paint
i know what will happen the flake will turn up and the weather will turn to shit again

Screw the paint, where's the hot grey motor that's been talked about?
Seriously, a hot nostalgia red motor is a period match with metal flake paint...that and some chromies to set it off...
I've heard you can get iso-free 2K paint now...
