A guy I worked with did that , Put up an ad in the sydney paper something along the lines of "Male for girls"
And 90% of the calls were blokes who wanted to watch their missus ,or blokes hoping to convert him  Its a wild world out there Mick ya just have to want it bad enough ha!

the temptation is great  got offered an '83 scottsdale C10 chev pickup and $1000 for the EK as it sits tonight only real prob pickup is LHD and can't get LHD rego for another 2 years :( but might be able to drive it on permits
a scottsdale is like the statesman of pickups air, steer, cruise, elec windows, central locking etc etc

it's prolly more just a money thing  i'm sick of haveing no money was nearly gunna stick the EK on the bay for $4,500 but didn't want to deal with knuckle heads  the truck should sell for around $5,000 quite easily + the $1,000 so 6 i'de be quite happy, but a modded car like this would never be done by me again :( i'm over it   so i think it'll stay   :D :( :| :?

I find that finishing what you started a very satisfying thing to do....I could NEVER sell off a 1/2 finished project ... I'd be left with that 'I wonder what it'd would have really been like' feeling. :?
I know that you have other projects on the 'simmer', Mick...but I'd love to see this one in the finished state. 8) 8) 8) 8)

Screw the paint, where's the hot grey motor that's been talked about?
Seriously, a hot nostalgia red motor is a period match with metal flake paint...that and some chromies to set it off... 8)
I've heard you can get iso-free 2K paint now...
