MY Sorta collection of toys.

Post by retro »

Please note that i had to depart with a few already, these include the fj (aka oily.. or keep the bloomin thing off the driveway) the ej prem (well no loss here its only an ej Premier) the salmon ek (at least this went to a good home to some nice people).Eh (well very upset as it was it was a one owner, basically no miles, books, reciepts, and also unmarked interior and rubber mats).

Still left and certainly NOT FOR SALE,is princess my little fb (aka ruubernecker) appeared on aussie muscle car site, my new red ek (thanks john, i hope you relise that grey motors take no more than four litres of oil, not eight, but thanks for this gem anyway), gibby (my 1975 gibson expolorer) and the old red and well known ute (ute23k)

enjoy the pics and wats the bet most of the sydney guys have seen the cars around and about, not locked up in garages, and as for the fb well yes its a grey but if your behind it slow down because your also probally speeding.

Enjoy.....

thanks guys,

i hope maybe one day i can add to the collection, a bit of aussie muscle would be nice (ie an xu1, hq ss, and a vh ss).But we can only garage so much and i dont know how much the mrs can take before she will have to move out to make room for more toys.

nice les pauls, my guess would be mid to late 1990's series but to hard to tell without id numbers.

mate seeing your ek in black has brought back memories of my fb the day i saw it at all holden day swap in sydney circa 2004/2005 when it was offered to me as an original black fb special and sold on the basis is was to be kept black, little did the guy know i had my own plans as soon as the money was exchanged, the car in my garage and the colour charts in my hand..... well the pic shows the outcome of my promise, mind you the old owner still recognised the car the next year, and shook his head, but was happy to see it on the road after a 23 year sleep in a shed.

its actually easy to choose which one to drive... the company celica-free petrol, and air conditioning.

NAh,the fb was the only one that still is registered so it was my weekender only when the sun was out and there were ladies to oooogah with the horn.

Now i know that the fb will be less used as the ek (which i only bought less than a week ago) will be my social run about, up to the pub, second job, shops etc as it is the first one out of the garage and id rather see the ek damaged then the fb at the moment because im planning to rip it apart within the near future and rebuild it to a higher standard.

Awesome collection! I'd be working out a deal with work to pay for fuel in your own car, way more fun.

Retro,
Both guitars were bought in the last 16 months or so. I hope they're new.
and yes, I like black curvy shiny things.......
By the way, love that FB.

If anyone can photoshop a "Special" badge onto the black guitar, I'd love to see how it looks!!

Andrew.
