I just wonder how those old vacuum wipers would go right now.
No seriously, I actually saw one of those models in a motoring museum somewhere in South Oz, In the early 90's on holiday. I can't remember where it was, but its was not at the Birdwood museum and they also had the same scale model in FX and HD, They looked to be made from steel but could of been made from resin or glass. They were behind fencing so you could not touch them. I will try to find some photos of our trip and post then if I come across them.
