If you'd said that  to me as recently as 10 years ago I wouldn't have agreed BUT in recent years the EJ has been appealing to me more and more as a nice smooth mids '60's classic and this car of hawks is pretty much an example of why I'm becoming a fan of EJ's.

Go back in time to the late '70's and '80's and even into the '90's and no one wanted them, most being wrecked for parts and as a result they are probably rarer now than EH's.I had people wanting to give me EJ's in the early 80's and never took up the offer    , kicking myself now

Looks good hawk 8) 8) 8) 8)

I love my FB/EK's more though
I can't think what to write here so this will do.

Nice cars there Hawk 8)... I prefer the look of the white rims, though...

My brother Justin had a grey EJ until about 2003 / 2004, when he sold it to the then president of the Queensland FB EK Car Club (if I remember rightly), whom pulled it apart to restore...

SunnyTim wrote:I bought another one from Sydney that was grey. Had spats and some other accessories. Egg Nog (Ken Bailey) picked it up and drove it for a week or two in Sydney and then we transported it up here. SunnyMick got it off me and fixed it and put it on the road and sold it around 6 months later. The spats are the ones on the White EJ with the flash kit I have posted on this site...
The rego was RJP-719 or something like that
Yep SunnyTim, that was Justin's EJ. Just rang him to confirm the rego number (he was happy to find out the car got put back on the road). I remember when Egg came around to pick up the EJ... Ken Bailey - I have not seen that guy for years... he was a quiet bloke whom seemed to cop heaps off certain NSW club members at the time...

I think Justin's car had scratch plates and a Warmaride that I bought for him (never got the chance to install it). A bloke out at Camden, NSW had the Warmaride and he had a beautiful, showroom stock 1957 Chev 210 sedan.

It's a small world...
